About Nick
This is pretty exciting. Normally I only get this excited when I’m playing tug or at the dog park, but this is better than both of those put together. (Well, on second thought, maybe not QUITE that exciting)
I thought I’d tell you a little about myself. On Christmas Eve, 2001, I was found wandering around Chino Valley, which is a little town near Prescott. I was pretty young, only about a year old, so I don’t really remember what happened to me before Chino Valley animal control picked me up, but I don’t think it was anything too bad. Roxie, one of the dogs in my pack here at the house, had lots of terrible things happen to her. She told me about some of them, but nothing like that happened to me. For a couple of months, I went to live with a woman who does border collie rescue in Chino Valley while the adults tried to talk Michele into taking me home. You see, Michele lost her first border collie a couple of weeks before I was found, and she didn’t know if she wanted another dog. But when she met me she saw how handsome I was and decided to take me home for a “trial” period. Well, I’m still here.
