Okay, I have to say it. There’s a MAJOR problem with Sales Letter Secrets.
And that problem is…
I’m not in it.
I TOLD Michele it would be so much better if I was on the DVD with her. I could show everyone how I type with my nose (my paws are way too big for the keyboard). I could also show everyone how nice I sit and how I can do a “high 5.”
But, alas, Michele said no. She thought I would be a distraction. People would pay attention to me rather then learn how to write their own promotional materials (which is the reason why they bought the course in the first place).
Well, I still think it’s a mistake. But there it is. Except for my photo on the product, I’m not in there. (Worse, I have no video of myself to submit to YouTube. My movie and television career is stalled.)
But back to the product. In terms of content, it’s very good. Michele has a way of explaining how sales letters work in a simple, easy-to-follow manner. By the time you’re finished (and it won’t take long, the DVD is 75 minutes) you’ll understand what you need to do to get those sales letters actually SELLING. After all, she’s taught lots of people how to write promotional materials (and they aren’t nearly as smart as border collies like me).
And the DVD is fun to watch (when you get past the lack of cute dogs in it). Plus Michele has put together a workbook that goes with the DVD, so when you finish the program, you’ll have a sales letter all written!
And if you don’t want to write a sales letter, that’s okay too. You can take what you learned with the sales letter and write all sorts of other promotional materials, like emails and web sites and postcards, that will transform potential customers into paying customers.
So if you want to learn how to write sales letters and other promotional materials that will make you money every time you use them, then this is the program for you.

The other day I was outside, minding my own business, when the evil cat showed up.
“Whatever happened to that business you were doing?” The evil cat asked.
I was startled. “How did you know about that business?”
The cat twitched his tail. “Everyone knew about it. You kept talking about it. I knew it wouldn’t go anywhere.”
I jumped up on the rock the cat was perched on. “What do you mean you knew I wouldn’t go through with it?”
The cat flattened. “Because you’re a stupid dog, that’s why. Dogs don’t follow through with anything.”
Maddie, my pack mate, pushed me out of the way and tried to scramble up the rock. “Why don’t you come down here and I’ll SHOW you how dogs can follow through?”
The evil cat hissed. “See, you’re so stupid you can’t even get up here to get me.”
Maddie flattened her ears. “One of these days…”
By this time, Michele had us and was dragging us back to the house. But I felt depressed. Was the evil cat right about me?

A few weeks ago, I interviewed Michele’s newest team member, Kabuki the badger, and here’s what she had to say:
Me: What’s your role here at Michele PW?
Kabuki: I’m not sure, I’m not much of a writer.
Me: I think you’re the mascot.
Kabuki: Mascot? Wow.
Me: How did Michele chose you?
Kabuki: Well, I live in the Heritage Park Zoo here in Prescott. Michele sponsored me this year.
Me: Sponsored?
Kabuki: Yeah, she bought all my food and stuff for the year.
Me: Oh, so every time you eat, you’re thinking about the business.
Kabuki: I like to eat.
Me: At least you better be because she’s feeding you.
Kabuki: If I can eat, I’m happy.
Me: What do you eat?
Kabuki: What do you think? Badger food.
Me: Why do you think Michele picked a badger?
Kabuki: She told me it’s because she’s from Wisconsin. She went to school at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Me: So?
Kabuki: The school’s mascot is a badger. Except his name is Bucky.
Me: Do you play sports like Bucky?
Kabuki: I like to eat. And dig. That’s about it.
Me: It must be nice to be a mascot. I have to work for my supper.
